What is being done?

There are a number of organisations working to save our endangered species. You’ll see some links on this site. Specifically, WTFA supports two organisations that have a similar philosophy to our own - that direct intervention is required in the tigers last domains if anything is to change.

WildAid

WildAid is an international organisation aimed at providing direct protection to endangered wildlife and nature. They train and equip wildlife law enforcement teams in the field. They campaign nationally and internationally for truly effective wildlife protection and enlist local communities in wildlife programs and help local conservation groups grow stronger.

They launch innovative programs to educate the public about the importance of wildlife and health ecosystems using investigative research and mass publicity to expose illegal trafficking and to reduce the market for wildlife products. They help to preserve and expand wildlife habitat so protected species can flourish once again.

WildAid is a Thai Foundation. A full 100% of public donations are spent on field programs.

WTFA has helped fund projects in Thailand at Khao Yai National Park.

Tigris Foundation

In the South-eastern tip of Russia, not far from Vladivostok, the last 400 Amur tigers and 40 Amur leopards roam the forests. Tigris Foundation, a Dutch organization founded in 1996, is dedicated to the survival of these endangered cats.

Tigris foundation is also involved in the development of new conservation projects and strategies in Russia and raises funds for their implementation. More than 85% of all donations are channelled directly to projects in Russia.
